"Fox Point" Type Seasoning Mix

Similar to Penzeys Fox Point seasoning mix. Great on eggs, meat, vegetables, and salads. My version of a copycat recipe for Fox Point.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp Chives - Freeze Dried
  • 3 tbsp Shallots - Freeze Dried
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Onion - Minced - Dried
  • 1.5 tbsp Garlic - Minced - Freeze Dried
  • 1 tbsp Green Peppercorns - Ground

Equipment

  • Cuisinart Nut and Spice Grinder

Method
 

  1. Individually grind the Chives, Shallots, Onion, Garlic, and Green Peppercorns. I ground each for about 5 pulses so that they were "ground" but not all the way to powder form.
    3 tbsp Chives - Freeze Dried, 3 tbsp Shallots - Freeze Dried, 2 tbsp Salt, 2 tbsp Onion - Minced - Dried, 1.5 tbsp Garlic - Minced - Freeze Dried, 1 tbsp Green Peppercorns - Ground
  2. Mix together all ingredients. I used the spice grinder to give them all a blend together. Pulse 3 times.
  3. Store in an airtight spice bottle or jar.
