Still Aggravated After All These Years
My favorite board game growing up—and still today—is Aggravation. It’s been ages since I last played. I’m thinking this weekend is the perfect time to dust it off for a round or two.
I found my childhood game tucked away at the top of the linen closet, quietly waiting. It’s in such great condition. It has spent all these years up high and out of reach. It has been safe from the chaos of everyday life.

Back in the day, it was a staple of our Friday or Saturday nights. Whether with family or neighbors, we’d gather around the kitchen table, laughter echoing over marbles rolling and friendly banter flying. The date on the box says 1972. Can it really have been that long? Time sure knows how to sneak past us.
We didn’t just play Aggravation either—Scrabble was another favorite. Those evenings were simple, fun, and full of connection. I’m glad the games are still around. They’re like tiny time machines. They are ready to transport us back to those golden moments.

You know what is crazy is a lot of kids today don’t even know what it is.
Most kids would be “Board game? Is that on Xbox?”
