Enjoying Nature

I am sharing a few photos that I took this week. Take time to relax and enjoy the outdoors.   The cooler temperatures are peeking through the heat of summer here in Alabama.  Cooler nights with lower humidity mark the coming possibility for more camping!

Aureoboletus betula is commonly known as the shaggy-stalked bolete that I found growing next to the tent.
Golden Orb Weaver that I met on the trail.
American Beautyberry
Summer Tanager
Turkey feather?
Dragonfly was a little tattered but still followed me around camp for a bit, saying hello and enjoying mosquitoes.
Snail is enjoying the campfire wood pile.
Polyphemus Moth cocoon on a cedar tree.

Take time. Wear sunscreen. Enjoy nature.
