Will a camera that was left in the woods still be recording 1 year later?

We weren’t able to get to two of our game cameras on the property for quite a while due to various issues. Will the cameras even be working anymore after such a long period of time? Usually, the batteries will run down after a few months. We were extremely surprised to find that one camera was still functioning after 13 months.
