What do a spice jar, a battery-operated tea light, and some string have in common?

Do you like to go camping?
Are there young children in your family who are afraid of the dark?
Here’s a little craft idea that will make them feel a little better when everything is dark and creepy outside.

First, wash and remove the label from a plastic spice jar. This one was from Dollar Tree when they had a 2 for $1 special.
Safely make two holes at the bottom, directly across from each other, and attach the string. This lantern is made upside down because the lid weighs more. If it’s not hanging, it’s less to turn over.
Turn on the candle and place it on the lid. Now put the lid back on the jar.
You’re done! That’s all it takes!
It looks like a real candle but has no flames.
Enjoy!
