1980s Green Bean Casserole Recipe with French Fried Onion Rings

Over the next couple of posts, I will be sharing some recipes I grew up with in the 1980s. Just thinking about them brings back memories of Saturday evening suppertime. Enjoy!

Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of French, style green beans
  • 1 can French Fried Onion Rings
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 T Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Open and drain beans.     
  • Mix with soup and half of the onions.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce.  Mix.
  • Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees. 
  • Add the rest of the onions to the top and cook till brown.  About 5 Minutes.
