Taco Soup
Taco Soup is a hearty, flavorful dish that brings all the bold, comforting flavors of tacos into a warm, satisfying bowl. Made with seasoned ground beef, sautéed onions, rich tomato sauce, and a blend of chili powder and spices, this soup is quick to prepare and perfect for any occasion. It's especially great when camping, where its warm, smoky aroma pairs perfectly with the crisp outdoors. Enjoy it next to a campfire, topped with shredded cheese, sour cream, or tortilla chips, for a cozy and delicious meal under the stars!
Ingredients
Method
- In a large pot brown the ground beef along with the chopped onion and garlic.
- When beef is browned stir in all other ingredients and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Enjoy with corn tortilla strips or chips. This soup is also great served with yellow Mexican cornbread. Garnish with grated cheese for extra creamy soup.

This is one of my most favorite recipes especially when the weather turns cooler. It also does well in the freezer if you want to make it ahead of time.
