Simple Whole-Wheat Biscuits Recipe

Whole-Wheat Biscuits

Servings: 12 biscuits
Course: Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups whole-wheat mix
  • ¾ cup milk or water

Method
 

  1. Combine the mix and liquid, stirring until just blended.
  2. Form a ball and knead lightly 10 times.
  3. Shape the dough into a log about 2 inches in diameter, and cut 12 equal slices,
  4. Place on un-greased baking sheets, patting the slices into even, round shapes.
  5. Bake at 425 °F for 10 to 12 minutes.
  6. These do not brown because there is no sweetener in the recipe.
  7. Yield: 12 biscuits.
